Step One: Create Your Free Account

Fill in your contact details and a valid credit card for identity verification

Confirm your registration via the email sent to you. Once approved, you’re ready to start bidding in our auctions. Once your free account has been approved, continue with Step Two below

Step Two: Register for a NexBid Auction

Now that your account has been approved, Click Here to view NexBid's current auctions: (opens in a new tab)

Click on the auction you want to join

Click “Register to Bid”

Once you agree to the auction’s terms and conditions you can begin placing your bids right away!

How Bidding Works at NexBid.ca Auctions

  • All bids at NexBid.ca start at just $4.00, giving everyone a chance to win amazing items affordably!
  • Manual bids on each item
  • Maximum bids will automatically place bids up to your set limit

Pro tip: Auctions use extended bidding to prevent last-second sniping, if someone bids in the final moments, the timer resets!

Buyer’s Premium

There is a 15% buyer’s premium added to the final winning bid.
Example:
Winning bid = $20
Buyer’s Premium (15%) = $3.00
Total = $23.00
This fee helps us keep the auction platform secure and professional.

Payment & Invoicing

  • After the auction closes, you’ll receive a Settlement invoice by email.
  • Payments are processed via your registered account by E-transfer, cash at pick up or PayPal for our USA bidders
  • We also accept cash when picking up your items at our Grand Falls, NB location 

Picking Up Your Items

Items must be picked up at our Grand Falls, NB location within 2 days of auction close at our Grand Falls, NB location unless being shipped or prior arrangements made.

Shipping Canada Wide and to USA

We are pleased to offer shipping across Canada and the United States for most auction items. Items eligible for shipping will be clearly marked as “Shipping Available” in the lot listing.

SHIPPING WITHIN CANADA
We ship via Canada Post, Maritime Bus, and Purolator, and will always select the carrier that offers the best rate for your shipment.

All shipped orders will incur a handling fee, in addition to the actual shipping cost. This fee covers the cost of packing materials (such as boxes, bubble wrap, tape, and labels) and the time required to carefully prepare your items for safe transit.
We aim to keep fees reasonable while ensuring proper packaging for safe delivery.

Our standard handling fees are:
$5–$10 for small or single-lot purchases
$10–$20 for larger or multiple-lot purchases
Maximum handling fee per bidder: $20

SHIPPING TO USA

We offer Canada Post Expedited Parcel shipping to the United States.

All shipments include tracking and are processed within 2–3 business days of payment. Please note: Duties or import taxes (if applicable) are the responsibility of the buyer.

Shipping and handling fees will be clearly listed on your invoice. If you are unsure whether shipping is available on a specific item, please contact us before bidding. NexBid will not be held liable for any delays or charges incurred at the border.

GENERAL

While we take great care in securely packaging glass items, please note that Canada Post does not insure glass items. Although we've successfully shipped hundreds of fragile items, damage can occasionally occur. Shipping glass is at your own risk, and we cannot offer refunds, exchanges, or credits for breakage during transit.
