🧾 Frequently Asked Questions Estate Auction Services

How do I know if an estate is suitable for auction?

If you're managing a full house, downsizing, or clearing out a large collection of usable items (furniture, tools, collectibles, etc.), it's likely a great fit. We offer free consultations to help you decide.

Do you come to the home to view the estate?

Yes. We offer free local consultations where we can visit the home, or you can send us detailed photos for an initial assessment if preferred.

Do I have to deliver the items to you?

Not necessarily. For larger estate jobs, we can help coordinate the removal and transport of items from the property to our location at 46 Evangeline St, Grand Falls, NB. Smaller estates or individual drop-offs can be brought in directly every Thursday between 10 AM and 6 PM.

How much does it cost to use your estate auction service?

There are no upfront costs. We charge:

  • 25% commission on sold items
  • $2 listing fee per lot (only if the item is listed)
  • Your fees are simply deducted from your final payout.

What kind of items do you accept from estates?

We accept clean, working, and resellable items such as:

  • Solid furniture, home decor, tools, electronics
  • Vintage, antique, or collectible pieces
  • Household goods and grouped box lots
  • We do not accept items like used clothing, broken furniture, tube TVs, or low-value goods. [See full list here.]

Do you sell every item?

Yes. All lots start at $4.00 and sell to the highest bidder. There are no reserves or unsold inventory — which means you can clear the estate quickly and efficiently.

How long does it take to get paid?

You'll receive your payout within 10 days after the auction closes, along with a report of what each item sold for.

How do you promote the estate items?

We handle all listing, photography, and marketing. Estate items are promoted through our local and national online auction platform, social media, email list, and targeted bidder communities ensuring broad exposure.

Do you offer full estate cleanouts?

We specialize in selling estate items, not junk removal. However, once the valuable contents are sold, we can recommend local partners who provide cleanout and disposal services.
